HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, and the MODX content management framework provide a robust foundation for my websites, and the Adobe Creative Suite gives me the tools of my trade.

AHC Oberflächentechnik: A website with lots of interactivity!

AHC stands for the development, production and finishing of functional and highly resilient surface designs of materials made of different base materials, such as metal and plastic.

We were responsible for creating a modern website that would bridge the gap between older, traditional web users and younger web users (the Facebook generation). We also provided the German content for the website.

A hit on this website is a search function that allows the user to type in their postal code, and the salesperson responsible for their area shows up with a contact form.

HNO+ Dr. med. Viktor Voigt

Don't mess around with your sinus cavities, go to a doctor!

I once had to have surgery on my sinus cavities, and it was a brutal experience. This project was just the opposite - smooth as jelly.... or something like that. Dr. med. Viktor Voigt is a great doctor and easy-going, which made working with him fun.

We provided the following services: logo development, photography, business cards, business paper, and a website based on .... you guessed it... MODX!

Arkanum Spiritus: luxury in design

Premium quality jewelery - hand made from a professional.

As the owner of Arkanum Spiritus is an artist herself, I decided to let the photography of her jewelry speak for itself. The design is very minimalistic, but the interface is fun to use. MODX proved again to be the proper CMS, as it is totally flexible and lets the frontend do its 'thang'.

Jobline LMU Online Learning Portal

We had the task of designing and programming a relaunch of the successful online learning portal for a very prestigious university in Munich, Germany - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
JOBLINE LMU is used in hundreds of universities in Germany as a tool to teach their students how to find a job in an english speaking country. Armed with multiple choice and dynamic Flash quizes, students can go through the many lessons and learn about the following topics: working abroad, job search, CVs, cover letters, telephoning, and interviewing. The project took us 3 years and was launched in 2007.

ROQUA: elegant dress for modern women

What is ROQUA?

Willfull, dynamic and feminine: RoQua offers modern Business Couture for the independent, confident 21st century woman.

All of their items reflect the contemporary spirit of the age by placing emphasis on sassy elements in proportion to elegant abstinence.

We created a new look for the website: one that is sleek and modern and adjusts to the browser window. It supports multi-language, has a dynamic press where magazine covers are shown with links to their corresponding PDFs for download. The administrator has the flexibility to change the background color to match the images used in the design.

The start page consists of an image gallery blowing up the images full screen and transporting the look and feel of ROQUA to their audience.

Summer of love: we're not talking about sex!

Practive Love. Drink Tea.

A local tea lounge in Munich, Germany. We created their whole image: corporate identity, packaging and the online shop. This time I did not use MODX, but I chose to go with a great open source shopping system called Open Cart. This system also separates design from logic, which is what drew me to it at first. The administrator can also edit all products and pages on the site. The design is fresh but still minimalistic.
